About Us - Indian Restaurant in Scotland
We set up the restaurant in Grantown on Spey, near Aviemore in 2006 and have gone from strength to strength since. Our family area all keen chefs although Abdul is very much the face of the restaurant and is fully in control of the front of house, however, in quieter times he has been known to venture into the kitchen and prepare something a little bit special for a diner now and again.
Authentic Cuisine
Our passion for cooking started with our mum and this led on to kitchen work and eventually chef work in many kitchens over the years. Now we have our own kitchen we are masters of all we survey and always works with the freshest ingredients and aromatic herbs and spices.
So what makes us different? Our cooking style is individual, unique and always tasty. Abdul's front of house style comes from 10 years working in Somerset with his Uncle and regular trips to London and Birmingham to ensure he keeps his finger on the pulse of the restaurant trade. Being in the Highlands of Scotland doesn't mean we miss out on inspirational new ideas!
